Karen Montee Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Montee (Athena, Oregon), who passed away on November 18, 2018, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Moore and Rachel Moore (Smith); her spouse Leon Montee; her sons, Bradley Montee and Brian Montee; her sister Kathryn Hansell; and her great grandchild Silas Montee.
She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Varner (Kenny) of Pendleton; her daughter-in-law Marianne Montee of Hermiston; her sister Karol Moore of Athena; and her grandchildren, Justin Montee, Kylie Montee, Nikie Watts (Justin), Steven Montee (Ashley), Elizabeth Varner and Victoria Varner. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 1, 1:30pm at Athena Christian Church, 458 E VanBuren Street, Athena, Oregon.Memorial contributions in Karen's name can be made to Athena Civic Memorial, Athena Christian Church or a charity of your choice.
