It is with great sadness that we announce the death of May Dagny (Astoria, Oregon), who passed away on February 13, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of May Dagny to pay them a last tribute.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Andrew Nygaard and Alfhild Dagny Nygaard (Johnson); her children, Linda May, Gerald Edward and Eugene Michael; her siblings, Andrew Martin Nygaard, Denise Fruehling (Vern), Olga Hovdon (Lloyd) and Helen Neimi (Gary); and also Carol Nygaard (Ober). She was also cherished by three children; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either First Lutheran Church in Astoria, or the Sons of Norway Scholarship Fund for Language Camp.
