She was predeceased by: her former husband Felix E. Ward III; and her husband Herbert Grainger. She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Orife (Iroro) and Felix Ward; her grandchildren, Onajite and Odette; her stepchildren, Robert Grainger, James Grainger (Claire Langdon) and Carol Grainger; her siblings, Christine Flaherty (Gene Perri), Jennifer Harvey, Patrick Flaherty and Ellis Harvey (Sarah); and her stepsiblings, Ann Manluccia (Skip), Rocky La Russo (Sandy), Larry Symons (Linda) and Norm Symons (Pam). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins.
Per Kathleen's request, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to Grace Episcopal Church, Astoria, OR, 97103.
