He was predeceased by: his son AJ; and his father-in-law Reino Vedenoja. He is survived by: his parents, Mick Shepard and Carol Shepard; his wife Arja; his children, Jason and Lisa (Neil); his grandson Landin; his brother Bryon (Joyce); and his mother-in-law Raili Vedenoja.
