It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dolores Lenore Nielson of Astoria, Oregon, who passed away on July 11, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Swenson and May Swenson; her spouse Kristian M. Nielson Sr.; and her sisters, Betty Gentile, Carry Swenson and Rosalie Swenson.
She is survived by: her children, Martin A. Nielson of Warrenton and Michele L. Nielson of Astoria; her stepchildren, Kristian M. Nielson Jr. and Tammara A. Moran of Klammath Falls; her siblings, Robert (Gerry Swenson), Steven (Doris Swenson), David (Joan Swenson) and Grace Dougherty of Sublimity; and her grandchildren, Brenda M West, Trevor J Altheide-Nielson, Dylan M. Altheide-Nielson, Corali K. Johnson, Carrie M. Shulmire, Mary C. Salata and Fred C. Shulmire. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
