He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Telpner and Sylvia Telpner; and his siblings, Gene "Kewpie" Telpner, Audrey Shapiro and Zeph "Boonjug" Telpner.
He is survived by: his wife Sally Priesman; his daughter Heidi Barr (Irwin); his grandchildren, Dan Barr and Jennie Anderson (Nathan); his great grandchildren, Dylan, Ethan Anderson and Sadie Barr; his daughter Sari Telpner of Ashland, OR; his grandchildren, Ailee Slater and Noah Slater; his great grandchild Marci Rosenthal (David); and his grandson Alex Rosenthal. He is also survived by friends.
He was fearless in the face of harmful covid policies and never hesitated to go out and keep living life.
