He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Raymond Smith and Mary Louise Alston; his siblings, Leonard, Alice, Marie and Gordon; his former wife Alice Zemp; his wife Carolina Smith; and his children, Gordon Smith (Linda), Kent Smith, Jorae Scofield (Mark), Loretta Backstrom, Raymond Smith (Georgina), Shari Griffin and Yazmine Arringtion (Mike). He was also cherished by 14 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
