He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Thomas and Alice Lyons (Jackson); his wife Karen Louise Lyons (McPike) of Aloha, Oregon; his children, Rockne Clay Helms of Portland, Oregon, Larry Lyons Jr. of Dallas and Lisa Lyons of Gresham, Oregon; his grandchildren, Brandon Lyons of Placerville, Sierra Lyons-Allmon of Gresham, Conor Lyons of Dallas, Texas and Morgan Helms of Portland; his siblings, Betty Jean Mills Nelson (Richard) of McMinnville and Roger Gardner (Jennifer) of Olympia, Washington.; his granddaughter Pamela Lyons; and his brother George Thomas Lyons.
