We are sad to announce that on November 7, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Virgil Hanson (Albany, Oregon). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Hanson and Wanda Hanson (Kunkelman); and his sister Aletha. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his sons, Jeff (Callie) and Craig (Veronica); his siblings, Johanna Teal, Charlotte Hiebert, Geri Paley and Curtis Hanson; and his grandchildren, Jessica Gatlin, Justin Smith, Shawn Bruner (Ashley), Sarah Lindsey, Dariety Tuck (Shayne) and Drayson McAnally. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and 10 great grandchildren.

“Hello Sharen and Virgil's family, we are deeply saddened to hear of our good friends passing! I always enjoyed meeting up with Virgil on our annual visits to Oregon from New Zealand. He helped me with several vehicle engine restorations that I was undertaking back in New Zealand and it was only by coincidence that I discovered his death when emailing him seeking some advice. He was an inspiration and always full of great motoring knowledge. His friendship is greatly missed. Rob Boult”
