Russell Wallace Tripp Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Russell Wallace Tripp (Albany, Oregon), who passed away on March 4, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, R. W. Tripp and Elsie Tripp. He is survived by: his wife Barbara "Duffy" Tripp; his daughters, Heather Young, Wendy Tripp (Mark Scheibmeir) and Alison Pontynen (Arthur); and his grandchildren, Alina Luce (Dave), Julia Scheibmeir (Brian Tengco), Abby Halom (Kyle), Anson Pontynen and Anna Scheibmeir (Adam DeHovitz).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (1115 28th Ave SW, Albany, OR 97321).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Willamette University Scholarship Endowment or to the Albany Downtown Association.
