He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Oren Gilbert and Helen Gilbert; his wife Dianne Dershon; his children, Steve Gilbert (Maria) of Millersburg, Rick Gilbert of Montana, Stephanie Gilbert of Eugene and Kathy Prater (Mike) of Idaho; and his sisters, Polly Strickland and Carol Bohn. He was also cherished by 4 grandchildren; 3 great-granddaughters.
