She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Miller and Alice Miller; her husband Steve Claxton; her siblings, Joy Davis, Tom and Lyle Miller; and her son Tom Whitney.

She is survived by: her children, Steve, Dawn Morris (Craig), Dee Ann Thompson, Ken Whitney (Carla), Sam Whitney (Jaton) and Marta Keeth (Paul); and her sister Carol Sullivan. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 30 + great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
