She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Esther Brandt and John Phillip Brandt; her husband Harold Pete Messman; her children, Sharon Tilley, Richard Messman (Nancy) and Carla Hofmann (Ken); and her sisters, Celia Marohn (Dave Nelson) of Medford, Oregon and Bernice Engel. She was also cherished by her six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; one great great grandchild.
