He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Eugene Hermens and Geraldine Hope Hermens (McMahon); and his brothers, Peter and John Hermens. He is survived by: his siblings, Patrick Hermens (Shirley), Dennis Hermens (Sue), Molly Buckner, Margaret Pyburn (Pete) and Paul Hermens (Marcy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Donations can be made to the Oxford House Association in care of Fisher Funeral Home.
