She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Kemp and Gladys Kemp; her husband Jack Boylan; her brother Melvin Kemp Jr.; and her daughter Susan Kirk-Davalt.

She is survived by: her former husband Leo James Kirk; and her daughters, Linda Kirk Fox (Wayne) of Watkinsville, Georgia and Nancy Kirk MacGregor (Gil) of Portland, Oregon..

The family recommends in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to the Friends of the Albany Public Library, 2450 14th Ave. SE, Albany, OR, 97322-6880.
