It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Louise Frerichs Elkington of Albany, Oregon, who passed away on June 20, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Walter Elkington; her children, Linda Louise Elkington Huotari of Oregon, John Eugene Elkington of Oregon and Kristin Maria Elkington of Oregon; and her sisters, Kristin Frerichs Fortune and Phyllis Frerichs Black. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Six great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
