It is with great sadness that we announce the death of June Rae Slaton (Albany, Oregon), born in Pomeroy, Washington, who passed away on September 11, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Ruark and Ida Ruark; her husband Cliff Slaton; and her siblings, Verle, Gene Ruark and Janice Lauinger.

She is survived by: her children, Janell (Peter Kolenc) and Steve Slaton; her grandsons, Kyle, Riley and Sam (Ana); her great grandchild Evie June; and her sister-in-law Helen Slaton.
