He is survived by: his wife Janice Barnhurst; his sister Florene Whitehead; his children, John (Andrea Barnhurst), Emily (Ammon Lujan) and Jessica Barnhurst; his stepchildren, Sabrina Bailey, Sean, Monica Bailey, Stephanie (Matt Madden) and Spencer Wasden; and his grandchildren, Mike, Mallory Ellefson, Laura Madden, Aaron, Kate Ellefson, Cody Ellefson, Nikki Madden, Katie Madden, Drew Madden, Lily Madden, Abbey Thies, Chrissy Veach, Cy Bailey, Eli Bailey, Ivy Bailey and Sam Bailey.
