He was predeceased by: his parents, Abraham F. Willems and Anna Willems (Isaac); his wife Dora Elizabeth Schrock; and his siblings, Esther Selzer, Roselena Roupp, Abe, Aaron and Mike Willems.

He is survived by: his children, Mardell Hochstetler (Douglas) of Albany and Kevin Willems of Lake Stevens, WA; and his grandchildren, Michelle (Trevor Speers), Alicia Hochstetler (Blake Myers) and Johnny Willems of Lake Stevens, WA..

Memorials may be given to the Mennonite Village's Endowment Fund or to Albany Mennonite Church in care of the Fisher Funeral Home, 306 S.W. Washington St.
