It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim Waldo (Albany, Oregon), who passed away on February 21, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Jim departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Jim. Though Jim may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Waldo and Ruth Waldo; and his sister Joy. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn; his son Monte (Lori) of Brownsville, OR.; and his brothers, Ron, Howard and Wilbur.
Jim's body was donated to Western University of Health Sciences in Lebanon with the hope that it might be helpful with Parkinson research.
