He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Aaron M. Ropp and Verna Martha Kropf; his wife Velma Ropp; his children, Byron (Debra Ropp), Doug (Jane Ropp) and Anisa (Doug Troyer); and his siblings, Ruth Wisseman, Howard Ropp, Iris Stutzman, Dorie Roth, Joyce Showalter, Julie Miller and Darlene Perrine. He was also cherished by 14 grandchildren; and 25 great grandchildren.
In honor of Jesse's love of aviation, in lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made to the Missionary Aviation Repair Center.
