He was predeceased by: his parents, Claus DeWall and Bertha DeWall (Crabtree); his former wife Leona Ricke; and his daughter Jacqueline Bowser. He is survived by: his wife Betty Crowder-DeWall; his children, Nancy Hostetler (Louie Lowenberg), Sherry DeWall (Mike Cathart) and Dennis DeWall (Julene DeWall); his granddaughter Jessica; and his great grandchildren, Hayden Briese, Parker Jackson, Kade Lindsay and Leona Lindsay.
