She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Hoerauf and Mary Hoerauf (Ruppert); her husband Wilbur Hurst; and her siblings, Emil Hoerauf, Albert Hoerauf, S. Alvin Hoerauf, Martin Hoerauf, Walter Hoerauf, Arnold Hoerauf, Emma Ding, Alma Hanson, Pauline Hoerauf and Edna Fischer.

She is survived by: her children, Doug Hurst of Salem, Randy Hurst of Illinois, Karen Lomax of Albany and Ron Hurst of Idaho. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
