We are sad to announce that on February 12, 2025, at the age of 95, Georgia Sophonia Legrand in Albany, Oregon, born in Chester, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Georgia Sophonia may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Georgia Sophonia touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bob Legrand; and her children, Shirley, James, Pete and Billy.
She is survived by: her daughters, Betty (Dennis) of South Dakota and Michelle (Rick) of Albany. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
