He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest A. Briggs and Emily Briggs (O'Brien) of South Cairo, NY; his brother Joseph Briggs of South Cairo, NY; his godson Darren L. Ricci of Freehold, NY; his niece Lisa M. Corratti of Rensselaer, NY; and his half-brother James Briggs of Albany, Oregon..
He is survived by: his sisters, Patricia M. Briggs East Greenbush (William Lamb) and Maureen Ricci (Laurence); his half-brother Ernest A. Briggs; his nephews, Joseph E. Vriale (Barbara) and Ryan P. Ricci (Tracy); his niece Dr. Erin E. Ricci (Dan Nolan); and his great-nephew Jack McKenzie Nolan of Saranac Lake, NY. He is also survived by nephews, nieces and cousins.
