Dorothy Mae Gillett Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Mae Gillett of Albany, Oregon, who passed away on August 22, 2023, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Baird and Winnie Baird (Ford); her husband Lawrence; her children, Eldon, Robert and Leona; and her siblings, Roy, Elmer, Peg and Bill.

She is survived by: her children, Ila Mae Gillett, Mary Ellen Pontnak, Pam Mattson (Duane), Viola Cooney and Cliff Gillett; her siblings, Martha "Mot" Lee and Dick Baird (Bev); and her siblings-in-law, Ray Gillett (Linda), Dotty Baird and Mary Baird. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
