He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Williams and Sadie Idella "Della" Williams (Brant); and his sisters, Viola McMorris, Irene Ogle, Joy and Helen.

He is survived by: his former wife Janet Joy Alford; his sons, Paul, James (Jim), Bruce and Wayne; his wife Helen Louise Moeller; and his stepdaughters, Sandra and Holly. He is also survived by many grandchildren, and some great grandchildren.
