He was predeceased by: his father Louis Pope; his grandparents, Fred, Thelma Pope, Bernard and Zelma Wilhelm; his uncle James Wilhelm (Jim); and his great-uncle Robert Pope (Bob).
He is survived by: his mother Janis Pope (Wilhelm); his sister Sherrie Nicholson; and his niece Makayla Nicholson.
Due to COVID, Dennis did not return to work and retired.
