He is survived by: his wife Jan Schaffner of Keizer, Oregon; his children, Jennifer Spatz (Roland Spatz) of Munich, Germany and Eric Schaffner (Kim Schaffner) of Bend, Oregon; his grandchildren, Alexander Spatz, Gerrit Spatz, Vanessa Spatz, Michael Schaffner and Isabella Schaffner; his great grandchild David Spatz; and his siblings, Mark Schaffner, Gary Schaffner, Shelley McCallister, Cindy Neeley, Sue Gent, Shirley Edmiston, Melanie Baker, Dale Schaffner and Brad Schaffner.
