It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Albert Nelson (Albany, Oregon), born in Council Bluffs, Iowa, who passed away on March 13, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Nelson and Mabel Nelson (Burkerd). He is survived by: his wife Janet Shapcott; his children, Paula Bronson (Chuck) of Albany, Randall Nelson (Pamela) of Albany, Patricia Nelson of Albany and Richard "Dan" Nelson (Dawn) of Albany; and his sister Donna Parry of Minnesota. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
