It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Clyde Earle Hashagen (Albany, Oregon), born in Leavenworth, Kansas, who passed away on February 2, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Albert Hashagen and Rose Hashagen (Jirsa); his spouse Irvalene Malott; his siblings, Edward Hashagen (Maryland) and Bernice Taylor (Arkansas); and his children, Jill, Ken, Judy and Keith. He was also cherished by four granddaughters, six great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Any memorial contributions may be made to the Oregon Veteran Home in Lebanon in care of the Fisher Funeral Home, 305 SW Washington St. Albany, OR 97321.

“I knew Clyde, we did not go to school together but we were friends. He gave a "Driver Duck" to Echo Company, Kemper Military School, a gift I accepted for Kemper! His kindness was felt by all of us. He knew how to laugh and more importantly, he knew how to make others laugh as well. I want you to know he honored his days at Kemper Military School. He was an enthusiastic cadet and one day, a few years back, he called me and we talked about Kemper for over an hour. John Downs,LtCol,USA,Ret.”
