It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Claus Andreas Sass (Albany, Oregon), born in Oakland, Nebraska, who passed away on July 23, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Claus Sass and Calista Sass (Pearce); his sister Ida; his uncle Bill; his former wife Kathleen Powers; his sons, Jonathan Powers and Eric William of Albany; his parent-in-law Kim Lillengreen; his sister Peg (Loran Sell); his wife Kim; his siblings, Yvonne Weeces of Blair, Nebraska, Peggy Sell (Loran) of Tidewater and Gordon Gamet (Mary Sabatka) of Albany; and his son Jon. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

At some time in the non-pandemic future, Kim will host a peach pie social at the Masonic Cemetery on Broadway Street in Albany where he is buried.
