He is survived by: his wife Judy (Keen); his children, Ryan Gardner (Jennifer) of Corvallis and Angela Gardner of Beaverton, Oregon; his grandsons, Chase and Jacoby; and his brothers, Roger Gardner (Nancy) of Salem and Jerry Gardner (Mary Beth) of Bend, Oregon..
A memorial service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Albany Mennonite Church (3405 Kizer Ave NE, Albany, OR 97322).
Memorial donations may be made to the Albany Mennonite Church remodel fund at 3405 Kizer Ave. NE, Albany OR 97322, or the Mennonite Disaster Service, an organization that helps those struck by natural disasters around the country and for which Byron volunteered many times.
