He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Beamer and Winnie Bell York Beamer; his former wife Althadel Johns of Athena; his parents-in-law, Flint and Eleanor Johns; his son-in-law Tom Hodgen; his sister Bernadine Towne; and his siblings-in-law, Lester Towne, Frank Fox, Bill Johns, Maurie Johns, Miriam Johns, Helen Smith and Donna Johns.
He is survived by: his sister Joanne Fox; his close friends, Bill Johns, Jim Smith and Maurice Johns; his children, Barbara Hodgen Palmer (Scott Palmer), Doug (Janet Beamer), Dick Beamer (Nancy Beamer) and John Beamer; his wife Barbara Dent Beamer; and his stepsons, Bruce and Ken Pollard. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
