It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lawrence Beamer (Adams, Oregon), who passed away on March 3, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Beamer and Winnie Bell York Beamer; his former wife Althadel Johns of Athena; his parents-in-law, Flint and Eleanor Johns; his son-in-law Tom Hodgen; his sister Bernadine Towne; and his siblings-in-law, Lester Towne, Frank Fox, Bill Johns, Maurie Johns, Miriam Johns, Helen Smith and Donna Johns.

He is survived by: his sister Joanne Fox; his close friends, Bill Johns, Jim Smith and Maurice Johns; his children, Barbara Hodgen Palmer (Scott Palmer), Doug (Janet Beamer), Dick Beamer (Nancy Beamer) and John Beamer; his wife Barbara Dent Beamer; and his stepsons, Bruce and Ken Pollard. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
