With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Violet Patricia Murphy of Yukon, Oklahoma, born in Correctionville, Iowa, who passed away on February 19, 2023 at the age of 91. She was predeceased by: her parents-in-law, James and Kathryne Murphy; her husband Don; her daughter Christina J. Murphy; and her grandson Gregory J. Murphy.
She is survived by: her children, Patty Newman of Oklahoma City, Vilene Savage, Sr. (James) of Nevada, IA, Grover Murphy, Sr. (Debbie) of Dibble, Donna Murphy-Nanney of Yukon, Kathy Burwell (Cary) of Yukon and Carol Hall of Yukon. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
