With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Samuel Franklin Thompson Jr. of Yukon, Oklahoma, born in Sheffield, Alabama, who passed away on February 14, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel F. Thompson, Sr. and Martha Elizabeth Thompson (Austin); and his sister Elizabeth Ann Mullins (Thompson). He is survived by: his wife Kerry Marion Kilbourne; his daughters, Leslie Jean Wilmot (Alfred) and Kerry Lynn Thompson-Page (Kent); his grandchildren, Alfred Henry Wilmot, III (Brianna), Terris Ray Thompson (Rachel) and Jordan Alexandria Wilmot; and his great grandchild Ellie Wilmot.
In lieu of flowers, Sam requested donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.
