She was predeceased by: her parents, James (Opal Harbert) and Phyllis; her husband Dr. Jack Thomas; and her children, William Thomas and Janette Shiflet.
She is survived by: her daughter Tamara Plender (Gregory); her children-in-law, Robin Thomas and Jim Shiflet; and her grandchildren, William Thomas, Hope-Ann Thomas, Jesse Shiflet, Lindsey Bartley, Brooklyn Plender, Dana Brittain, Brandalyn Plender and Shelby Plender. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Buchanan Funeral Service of Oklahoma City (8712 N Council Rd, Oklahoma City, OK 73132). A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (13400 N Kelley Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73131). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at the same location.
