She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Whittington and Minnie Lou Whittington (Watson); her son Jason R. Hargis; and her sister Karen Ferguson. She is survived by: her husband Ron Hargis; her sons, Josh R. Hargis and Tyler R. Hargis; her siblings, Doyle, Beckie Whittington, Clinton Whittington and Kimberly; her brother-in-law John Reicherts; and her grandchildren, Jolie Hargis and Joseph Hargis. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and other loving family members.
