He was predeceased by: his parents, Koruthu Unnunny and Aleyamma Unnunny; his in-laws, Philipose John and Kunjamma John; and his sisters, Babykutty Pappachen and Annamma Vastin.
He is survived by: his wife Aleyamma Kutty; his sister Lilly Strout (Andrew Strout); his children, John K. Varghese (Mini Varghese), Gracy Koshy (Silas Koshy) and Denny Varghese (Jolly Varghese); and his grandchildren, Sheena John, Sherin John, Nathan Varghese, Ashley Varghese (Koshy), Bradley Koshy, Alyssa Varghese and Andrew Varghese.
Viewing was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary (201 E Main St, Yukon, OK 73099). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Mar Thoma Church of Oklahoma (5609 N Mueller Ave, Bethany, OK 73008). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Yukon Cemetery (660 Garth Brooks Blvd, Yukon, OK 73099).
