She was predeceased by: her parents, Dick Ayers and Minnie Ayers; and her siblings, Richard Ayers and Kay Tinkler. She is survived by: her husband Bobby Kurtz; her children, Jason Kurtz (Ashley) and Alison Basler (Jeremy); and her grandchildren, Ashlyn Crutchfield (Cale), Jadyn Basler and Addie Kurtz. She is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
