With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Rodney Wilson (Yukon, Oklahoma), who passed away on October 24, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Robert and Pauline Dorthy Wilson; his siblings, Larry, Franklin, Dennis, Arvin, Gaileen and Lori; his niece Sharon Anne; and his pets, Howard, Lacy and Barley.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Wood-Wilson; his children, Lonny Wilson (Kathy), Sheldon Wilson, Sterling Wilson (Niki) and Tracy Melton (Steve); his son-in-law Isaac Masoud; his stepdaughter Kristine (Adam Halacka); his siblings, Marilyn Peters, Walt Wilson, Delores (Ed Hill), Daryl (Cindy Wilson), Lester (Diane Wilson), Donna Olson, Dorthy (Ray Tracy), Davy (Cathy Wilson), Elaine Wilson and Vickie (LeRoy Gill); his sister-in-law Corky (Dale Everett); his great grandchildren, Brandon, Brittney, Ryan, Shawn, Heather, Leslie, Amber, Leitner, Alexandra, Sabrina, Noah, Hope, Taloa, Tvskha, Izzat, Izabella, Ezra, Brielle and Emilie Rose; and also, David, James, Jeff, Heidi, Greg, Jillian, Debbie, Barry, Delores, Donna, Zane, Cole, Lilly, Harrison and Daylan.
Viewing was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Yanda and Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services (1500 W Vandament Ave, Yukon, OK 73099). A memorial service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Wesley United Methodist Church (1401 NW 25th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73106).
