He was predeceased by: his parents, Suekichi Iwashita and Rose Tase Iwashita (Watanabe); his wife Gladys Iwashita; his children, Larry, Fran, Shirley and Gerold; his grandchildren, Travis, Kinda and Aaron; and his siblings, Jimmy Iwashita and Kaz Iwashita.
He is survived by: his children, Ronda Harp and Kimi Ray; and his siblings, John Iwashita, Keiko Pulin and Ikuko Iwashita. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
