It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred Gatz of Yukon, Oklahoma, born in Alva, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 9, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Gatz and Mary Gatz (Eggstein). He is survived by: his wife Karen Gatz (Martin); his children, John Gatz of Bethany, Julie Marley (Craig) of Piedmont and Gary Gatz (Glenda) of Piedmont; his siblings, Alfreda Wirtz (Ken) of Moore and Don Gatz of California; his grandchildren, Jerrod Gatz (Jamie), Jonathan Gatz (Autumn), Blake Marley, Debbie Armstrong, Barry Marley (Kayla), Chandler Gatz and Cheldon Gatz; and his great grandchildren, Jaxson, Josephine, Juliana Gatz, Jamison and Scarlett Marley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and many life long friends.
