He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Schroeder and Lorene Schroeder; and his son Steve Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Schroeder; his daughters, Falecia (Keith Carpenter) and Rhonda (J. C. Dennis); his brothers, Wayne (Mary Schroeder) and Gene (Mary Schroeder); and his grandchildren, Morgan Johnson, Justin, Lisa Carpenter, Trey, Taylor Dennis, Zachary, Kayla Dennis, Abigail, Hunter Fortune and Quinn Dennis. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
