He was predeceased by: his parents, Clement Stang and Anna Marie Stang (Sander); and his siblings, Donald, Edwin, Elmer, Lorine Webb, Luella Cudney, Robert, Linneus, Kenneth, Ronald, Tina Brouillette, Joan Landen and Bill.
He is survived by: his wife Pat; his siblings, Virgil Stang and Connie Martin; his children, Ann Cook, Jennifer Calvert (Barry), Ed Stang (Sharla) and Adam Stang (Robyn); his grandchildren, Joshua Cook (Shannon), Kaylee Cook, Allison Maguire (Conor), Lucas Cook, Rebecca Stang (Thomas), Tabitha Stang, Andrew Stang, Ryan Stang, Sarah Denham (Blake) and Emma Stang; his stepgrandson Chad Calvert; and his great grandchildren, Alexander Cook (Xander), Nathaniel Cook, Lakely Stang and Sophie Denham.
A wake was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the Yanda & Son Funeral Home Chapel (1500 W Vandament Ave, Yukon, OK 73099). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church (600 Garth Brooks Blvd, Yukon, OK 73099).
