It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Herbert Smith of Yukon, Oklahoma, born in Sabetha, Kansas, who passed away on June 22, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Lloyd Burton and Vera Mina Smith (Shellhammer); his sister Patsy Ruth Rosson (Kent Rosson); and his son-in-law Brandon John Booth. He is survived by : his wife Carolyn; his children, Charles M. B. Smith of Yukon and Michelle Booth; his granddaughter Morgan Booth of Mustang; and his sister-in-law Naoma Smith of Coyle. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and many great friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McNeil's Funeral Service (525 W State Hwy 152, Mustang, OK 73064). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Canadian Valley Baptist Church (11500 SW 15th St, Yukon, OK 73099). A graveside service was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Coyle Cemetery.
