He was predeceased by: his brother Mark Wingo; and his grandparents, Jiggs Wingo, Opal Ruth Wingo-Vrana, Merl and Gerry Bennett.
He is survived by: his parents, Larry DeWayne Wingo (Beri) and Kathleen Sue Bennett-Wingo; his husband Stan Patterson; his sister Kim Wingo-Dyer (Gregg); and his sister-in-law Becky Patterson-Hamrick (Kevin). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
