With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bonnie Lou Chavez of Yukon, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 19, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bryan and Audrey Snow; her husband Jimmy Lee Chavez; her siblings, James Ira, John Bryan, Donald Snow, Cecilia and Ruth; her children, Jimmy Lee Chavez, Jr. and Darla Bottoms; and her grandchildren, Stephanie Chavez Mayfield, Nicki Wilmot and Cavin Williams.

She is survived by: her children, Johnny Seymour (Joni) of Yukon, Janette Williams of Yukon and Fred Behringer (Andrea) of Shawnee. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

“Bonnie was my aunt. My mother -Celia was her sister! Bonnie was just 2 months older than me. We were born just after WWII ended. I had severe Asthma when I was a child and had to sit quietly when I played. Bonnie and I sit and played a lot of hours with our dolls and Paper Dolls, so I would not run and play like all of our cousins did. Ater Bonnie was born my grandma was in a wheelchair because of Arthritis. Bonnie will be greatly missed! (Lyndia Watson Glover).”
