She was predeceased by: her husband Edgar Lee Nix; and her parents, Richard Benonia and Clara Emma Lumpkin. She is survived by: her children, Carol Jean Norris and James Richard Nix (Adeline); her grandchildren, Amy Ramsey (James), Angela Chiriboga (Freddy), Amber Fuerstenberger (Mark), Robyn Keele (Micah), Sandi Doyel (Colby) and Timothy Nix (Elizabeth); and her great grandchildren, Emma Allen-Morgan, Mark Gaer, Jamie Landry (Luke), Gabby Chiriboga, Marcie Chiriboga, Cole Ramsey, Hannah Keele, Jonah Keele, Abigail Keele, Zoie Doyel, Landin Doyel, Declan Nix, Clara Nix, Liam Nix and Aiden Nix.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Rose Hill Cemetery - Tulsa (4161 E Admiral Pl, Tulsa, OK 74115).
