As Sue departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Sue may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Sue leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Velda Pettegrew (Ellis) and Leo Pettegrew; and her husband Floyd Mathews. She is survived by: her children, Leon Couch (Ivana), James Couch (Deanna), Eugene Mathews and JoAnn Brandon (Harley). She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
